After hearing a story from a local called Eman Kurdiman I collaborated with artists, musicians, graphic designers, the bakery and ceramicists to make a performance about life’s cyclical journey and the afterlife.
The performance included symbolic elements such as, a bread bed representing Indonesian slow living, eagle masks, and
music crafted from making peanut sauce.
The performance was timed to end at Iftar so the audience could break their fast and communaly eat the bread with the peanut sauce.
